When and where is the event?

We will be at the Seven Springs Resort in PA from 26 February to 1 March 2012.

What will it cost me?

Nothing except for your own lunches each day. We cover transportation, meals (other than lunch), lodging, ski lift tickets, ski lift equipment rental, ski instructions and the loan of any ski clothing you may need.

Do I have to know how to ski?

No. We have full instruction for skiing with other winter activities available. Skiing is only a part of this event. We will have instructors matched to you based on your skill level and your degree of disability.

Do I have to own skis?

No. We have all equipment including skis, boots, poles and winter clothing for the entire family to use.

Can you cope with my disability?

Probably. We have equipment and instructors for nearly every type of physical handicap. Just fill out an application so we can evaluate your needs and we will contact you promptly with an answer.

Who can apply?

Any member (male or female) of any branch of the service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard) who is on active duty while receiving care for injuries or who has received a medical discharge, including amputees, burns, TBI, PTSD or any service-related disability.

Who can I bring?

You can bring spouse or caregiver and any children over the age of 5 years. Children are welcome but not required.

How do I get there?

You can drive your own vehicle - we will reimburse all expenses. Or, if you cannot drive, we will make transportation arrangements from your home to the resort and back home again.
